Grant Hume has assumed the post of acting managing director of Columbus Communications - the operators of Flow - following the sudden resignation of Sean Latty.

Latty had been Managing Director for six months.

Hume has been Vice President Columbus Business Solutions since May 2014 after a substantial track record in several Fortune 500 companies as a sales professional.

He will now lead FLOW , a company that is in the throes of transition with an impending merger arising from an acquisition deal with Cable and Wireless Plc.

The Telecoms sector received news on Tuesday that Latty had resigned to once again take up a post at Digicel after a previous 12-year stint.
