Dwight Moore takes a wife

With conviction and passion, Dwight Anthony Moore repeated the words "I will", and even his emphasis on "lawful wife" was profound. Last Saturday, the Kingston businessman handed over the name Moore to attorney-at-law Sharon Annette Milwood in a well-attended wedding ceremony at the Saxthorpe Methodist Church in the capital city.

OAS names Jamaican director, Department of Trade, Tourism, Competitiveness

Secretary General of the Organisation of American States (OAS), Dr. José Miguel Insulza, has named Pamela Coke Hamilton, first female and first Jamaican national, as the new director of the Department of Trade, Tourism and Competitiveness (DTTC), effective August 1.
