Commissioner of Police, Dr Carl Williams says judges should not be concerned about a withdrawal of Close Protection Officers (CPOs).

According to Williams, members of the police force understand the inherent risks associated with the profession.

He says it’s 'almost' automatic, that all judges will retain their CPOs after a threat assessment is carried out.

The Police Commissioner also says he has met with Chief Justice, Zaila McCalla and Justice Minister, Mark Golding to allay any such fears.
