Campbell-Ryce scores to hand Barnsley win

Trinidad and Tobago international Chris Birchall had a costly miss in a penalty shoot-out and Jamaican Jamal Campbell-Ryce scored, as the two Caribbean men made headlines for different reasons in England on Tuesday night.
In a League Championship match, Campbell-Ryce hit a wonderful first-half strike that gave Barnsley a rare win at Sheffield Wednesday.
Campbell-Ryce, who featured in Jamaica's 0-0 draw with Nigeria in a friendly a week ago, scored a superb goal in the 38th minute that gave Barnsley victory at Sheffield Wednesday's Hillsborough Stadium for the first time in 30 years.
In an otherwise dull game, Campbell-Ryce picked up a pass from Daniel Bogdanovic, skilfully dribbled into the box through the defence and fired an angled left-footed shot high into the net past goalkeeper Lee Grant.
Sheffield Wednesday had Jamaica international Jermaine Johnson in their line-up.
Meanwhile, Luton's goal-keeper Lewis Price made saves against Birchall and Jason Jarrett and propelled his side to a 4-3 penalty shoot-out win over Brighton, that sent Luton into the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final.
At Luton's Kenilworth Stadium, Tom Craddock scored after just two minutes to give the home team the lead. Nick Forster hit an equaliser after 20 minutes and after no more goals, the game went to penalties.
Luton netted all their spot kicks and booked a spot in the Wembley Final against Scun-thorpe after Price saved efforts from Jarrett and Birchall, who appeared in last week's 2-2 draw for Trinidad and Tobago in their World Cup qualifier against El Salvador.
