What can persons do for their Valentine despite the current economic downturn?
Paul Thompson, 30s, driver:
This Valentine's, people need to get wise and stop commercialising the day; show more love everyday because love should be shown to each other each day. We would be better off as a nation.
Howard Ainsworth, 29, customer service rep:
Show more love, aside from just the materialistic things. Show more love that is meaningful.
Daniel Brown, 37,auto mechanic:
For Valentine's, persons should do what they can, whether they can carry their spouses for dinner or fund a trip abroad.
Elmar Johnson, 17, student:
For Valentine's, persons should bring out their partners or buy them something special.
Dillon Lewis, 74, retiree:
Persons should show love just the same, and give all they can. The Bible tells us we cannot go through life the right and proper way without love, as without love we are nothing.
Lotoya Higgins, 18, unemployed:
Persons should love and share more, and for just this Valentine's, do something a little different.
Debbie Douglas, 28, cosmetology:
Individuals should show love by giving love, because love is action and action speaks louder than words.
