FORMER CHAMPIONS Tivoli Gardens cruised by hosts St. Mary's College 4-0 in yesterday's round of matches in the Inter-Secondary Schools Association (ISSA)/Pepsi/ Digicel Manning Cup competition.Marlon Abraham scored a brace for Tivoli and got good support from Trydon White and Clifton Francis who were the other scorers.
Dave Clarke, coach of Tivoli Gardens, was happy with his team's victory.
"We are satisfied with the game," Clarke said. "We went there for all three points and we got them.
"My players were lacking confidence but playing a team like St. Mary's College, who were beaten 11-0 by St. Jago, came at the right time ... we scored four goals and the team is very upbeat now."
In the day's other games, Jamaica College beat Waterford 2-0, St. Jago defeated Innswood 3-1, Charlie Smith and Greater Portmore played to a 0-0 draw and it ended 1-1 between Pembroke Hall and Camperdown.
