The Editor, Sir:

Thank you, Portia. You have promised to watch the JLP's every step and I am depending on you to do same. I can't understand why the Jamaican people cannot see that this is for their own good.

It is important, especially in this case where so many seemingly unrealistic promises were made, that potential leaders understand that you cannot just make promises hoping that the Jamaican people will forget. I am not saying that these promises will not be realised, all I am saying is, I cast my vote based on the promises that were made and I want somebody to keep reminding the JLP that I am waiting for the fulfilment of these promises.

This is not about sympathy for one party leader or another, it is about me and my country. Jamaicans, we have to send a message or else we will be giving them permission in the next general elections to feed us any promise they wish without facing the consequence.

If the JLP will be allowed to get away with it, then what is going to stop the PNP from doing the same? I voted for the JLP based on their promises and I want what they say they are going to give us, so, yes Portia, watch them!
