Every day we eat foods that carry our favourite brand but have you ever stopped to consider which one stands above the rest?
Do you think they are all the same with only different labels or do you believe
the claim made by advertisements?
THIRTY PEOPLE were asked to sample a number of brands of tomato ketchup and mackerel in tomato sauce. Of the 30, fifteen people gave a response.
The brands chosen for the ketchup were: Grace, Geddy's, Miracle, Robert's, NuPak, Lasco and Eve. The brands for the mackerel chosen were: Grace, Brunswick, Eve, Geddy's, Lasco, Miracle and NuPak.
Grace came out winner in both ketchup and mackerel brand test. Geddy's placed second in the ketchup brand test and Miracle place third. In the mackerel test Brunswick placed second and Lasco placed third.
Taste testers were blindfolded. Most of them were able to guess the Grace Ketchup correctly and most thought that Brunswick Mackerel was in fact Grace Mackerel. Some people were able to guess the Lasco Mackerel correctly.

It tastes bad.
