Women leaders call for assertiveness
THE NEED for women to be assertive in their drive for equality in the society, was again reiterated by several women leaders at South Africa's National Women's Day celebrations at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, New Kingston, on Tuesday.

New acting principal for St George's
ST. GEORGE'S College will open its doors to a new Acting Principal, next month. Fred William Kennedy, an old boy of the college who spent several years in Canada, will assume duties September 1.
