By the looks of things, these best friends are having a grand time.

1. How did you two meet and when did the friendship begin?

Ayesha Barnett (AB): We met in eighth or ninth grade of high school - that's about nine years ago - but we became solid in university.

Kristina Dyer (KD): In high school, we were in the same lunch group and we practically grew up together.

2. If each of you should look in the other's handbag, what would you find?

AB: Kristina's phone, lipgloss, glasses and purse. Maybe her keys, depending on who is taking her home.

KD: Ayesha's lipgloss - we both have to have lipgloss - purse, her two cellphones (laughing) and her camera. She always has the cutest bags.

3. Which of you would be considered to have the sharpest tongue?

(Before a word could be uttered, she sprang up with the answer.) AB: Me ... without a doubt (laughing).

KD: She does, and it has definitely rubbed off. She is the kind of friend that always has your back. You do not want to get on her wrong side.

4. When going shopping, who can resist and say no to unnecessary spending?

AB: I think we are both each other's conscience at some point or the other. Of course, for special occasions, we go all out, at which point nothing is too much!

KD: Well, that is hard. I think we are both bargain shoppers, but we have our weaknesses. I know she has a thing for bags and I love shoes, so we'll probably spend on that.

5. If there was ever a moment that could depict the friendship you two share, what was it?

AB: I do not think we have one moment, for there have been so many moments, but she is my go-to girl about everything. I call her one of my besties!

KD: I cannot think of a moment but she has always been there in times of need, especially with boyfriend issues. Ayesha is a constant figure in my life whom I can count on for support and vice versa.
