Events: High jump, long jump, 80m hurdles, 4x100m, 4x400.

Personal records: High jump (1.88m), long jump (5.88m), 80m hurdles (11.72).

Main rivals: Russell identified Manchester High's Chanice Porter, who leapt 6.10m at Central Champs recently, as her main rival, saying, "She will be a threat."

Last year's performance: Russell leapt 1.70m for third in the high jump, and 5.88m in the long jump for second, while 12.09 gave her sixth place in the hurdles.

Expectations: Primary aim to win all four events; aiming for at least two records.

NOTE: Is expected to compete in three individual events, none of which she won last year, but this time will start favourite. Russell, the 2008 Carifta Under-17 long jump silver medallist, has improved in leaps and bounds over last season and could run excellent legs on either 4x100m or 4x400m.
