Time for change

1. Some are asking for the establishment of specialised constitutional courts to hear and adjudicate on electoral matters arising from general elections, petitions, etc. They say the current state of affairs cannot stand, where two years after a general election the outcome of the elections and legitimacy of the Government are still not yet decided.

New lyrics

2. The new lyrics for the Dollar-wine song: "Up, up and away, in my beautiful balloon".

Crunch begins to bite

7. The prospect of him being carted off to jail is said to fill some with delight, as it would absolve many who received 'contributions' for their commitments. So don't expect any affidavits of support, or any other form of intervention, is the talk around town.

Six months or else!

8. With support unravelling in all corners, but more so from the faithful, strategists are worried that if something positive does not happen within the next six months, it will be curtains for this act. Some have even implied that failing to really involve one key player in the overall process might even be a blessing in disguise for the one being sidelined, as he could emerge unscathed by it all and lay claim to being the new standard bearer.
