Minister of Tourism Edmund Bartlett said yesterday that, by all indications, the tourism sector would not be seriously affected by Gustav.
Yesterday the Jamaica Tourist Board reported that tourism partners, including the accommodation, attractions, ground transportation and airlines sub-sectors, were in the process of restoring their operations to normalcy.
"There has been no further dislocation to cruise ship arrivals to the island," the board said.
