  • Law-abiding PM

Buggering is a violation of the judicial system of Jamaica and that question could not have been answered any differently but in the way PM Golding responded. The PM has to be the enforcer of all aspects of our constitutional and judicial law and, at present, buggery is a violation of our judicial system. Enforcement of acceptable laws should not be categorised as homophobic, it is just simple law-abiding. Kudos to you, PM Golding.

  • State of sin

Why is there so much talk about what was said by Mr Golding? History has shown us that change is inevitable. Fornication was considered a major outrage back in the day; so was being with child without being married. These have now become commonplace and accepted by most in our society. What about the adulterers, the murderers, the child abusers? Are these sinners any less than the Gays. In the Bible all sins are equal except blasphemy. So what is important is: have you sinned today?

    - A. B. Thomas, Kingston 10
