Trinidad and Tobago, with a first innings lead of 236 over Barbados, reached 31 without loss in their second innings at the close of the second day of their final-round Carib Beer Series match at Guaracara Park yesterday.

SCORES: T&T 420 (Lendl Simmons 126, Richard Kelly 68, William Perkins 41, Adrian Barath 39, Ravi Rampaul 38; Dwayne Smith 2-64, Sulieman Benn 4-136) and 31-0. BARBADOS 184 (Dwayne Smith 39, Dale Richards 38, Alcindo Holder 27, Kevin Stoute 21; Amit Jaggernauth 3-34, Rayad Emrit 3-37, Dave Mohammed 2-33).

AT CHARLESTOWN, Nevis, the Leeward Islands, 170 runs ahead of Combined Campuses and Colleges (CCC) on first innings, reached 82 for one in their second innings at the close of the second day at Grove Park.

SCORES: LEEWARDS 418 (Kieran Powell 85, Tonito Willett 67, Devon Thomas 66, Runako Morton 59, Shane Jeffers 45, Steve Liburd 41; Gavin Wallace 6-108) and 82-1 (Kieran Powell 52 not out, Steve Liburd 21). CCC 248 (Simon Jackson 75, Omar Philips 38, Chadwick Walton 32, Floyd Reifer 26, Kevin McClean 24 not out; Gavin Tonge 4-66, Brent Defreitas 2-29).

AT PROVIDENCE, Guyana, the hosts, choosing to bat against the Windward Islands, reached 312 for three at the close of the opening day of their delayed final-round match.

The match started a day late because of lost luggage problems for the travelling Windwards.

SCORE: GUYANA 312-3 (Travis Dowlin 121 not out, Shivnarine Chanderpaul 78 not out, Leon Johnson 46; Shane Shillingford 2-97).
