This cop needs help
published: Monday | November 19, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

I am writing about a letter you published on October 30, entitled 'Injured cycle cop needs help.'

I think it is a downright shame and disgrace to the Ministry of National Security. This man was a police on duty at the time of his accident, riding the ministry's bike and now you are telling me that he is suffering to pay his bills. This doesn't need red tape. It is time for us to take better care of our public servants than that. He should be well taken care of, a man who put his life on the line.

When I read the letter this morning I was so upset, I had to write something on his behalf.

His letter needs to be highlighted so that he can get the right help.

I am, etc.,
