Every woman's favourite place for trendy shoes, fabulous bags, beautiful, sexy clothes and to-die-for accessories, Heart and Sole is now in a spanking new location at Manor Park Plaza, St. Andrew, and the opening last Sunday was toasted by Veuve Cliquot Champagne courtesy of J. Wray and Nephew.

Last Sunday saw proprietor, Mary Abrahams, busy with all the last-minute details as she got ready to welcome guests and old customers to the store. The decor, by Ardelle Dallacosta, is effective for its sophistication and clean simplicity. This style presents the beautiful inventory to its best advantage.

Best designs

Abrahams continues to scour the world's best designers for their hot new selections for the Christmas shopping season and beyond. The old favourites are back and some newcomers have been introduced. These include: Dina Mackney, Maxx New York and Beverly Feldman.

The jewellery selection is striking with stones that speak volumes and these are tucked away in their own special nook. Evening purses are irresistible; handbags come in the current oversize trends and shapes with textures and material in animal prints and patents that seem determined to linger even past the Christmas season. But, the shoes, oh the shoes will keep women breaking their self-control rules forever.

Heart and Sole has not left out the men. There are hot styles for the discerning man who will be able to pick up a pair for himself while he shops for his main lady (like the first customer in the store last Sunday).
