Traffic changes for Molynes Rd
published: Saturday | April 21, 2007

The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists that both Cowper Drive and Gilmour Avenue in the Molynes Gardens community will be permanently closed at the Molynes Road end of these roadways as of tomorrow.

As a result of this closure, access to this section of the community will be by way of Washington Boulevard, Cowper Drive and on to Gilmour Avenue.

The agency is also advising motorists that right turns on to Molynes Road from Seaward Drive will be restricted, effective Monday.

These closures and restrictions are part of the NWA's traffic management thrust to reduce congestion and improve traffic movement in the Kingston Metropolitan Transport Region at overly busy road junctions.
