FIRSTCARIBBEAN INTERNATIONAL Bank's Capital Markets Unit has announced that Sharaz Ahamad was promoted to the post of director of its capital markets division for the southern Caribbean. Prior to joining FirstCaribbean International Bank, Sharaz worked for Citibank (Trinidad and Tobago Limited) as manager for product development and innovation for Trinidad and the wider Caribbean region.
Additionally, Robert Mohamed was hired as director for transaction management and distribution for capital markets and Gerard Morton as senior business analyst for capital markets. Robert joined FirstCaribbean in March from Deutsche Bank, London.
Executive director for capital markets, Ian Chinapoo, said FirstCaribbean searched for highly qualified professionals in their respective fields.
FirstCaribbean International Bank's capital market headquarters is located in Trinidad with regional offices in Barbados, Bahamas, Jamaica and Cayman.
