Cleaning up is a breeze...with McCormick Bag 'n Season Spice
published: Thursday | December 15, 2005

Nashauna Drummond, Staff Reporter

Wings drumsticks seasoned, bagged and ready for the oven.

I WAS sceptical about McCormick Bag 'n Season spice. I like my chicken wings spicy and I never trust these packaged seasonings, I like putting my own blend together.

But the McCormick way is very easy to put together. In between my chores, the meat was bagged, seasoned and ready for the oven. I was also in doubt about the orange-coloured appearance of the wings when they were placed in the bag compared to the nicely brown image on the package.

Within minutes of being in the oven you could smell the seasoning going to work. It was a pleasant smell. I thought the time indicated on the package was too short so I added 10 minutes making 50 instead of the 40 minutes recommended. After turning the meat the first time, it looked burnt at first. But at the end of the process, I was surprised by how it turned out. The meat just melted off the bones in my mouth. It was very spicy though the heat was felt more than tasted.

The best part was how easy the cleaning up process was. All I had to do by way of washing up was the baking tin, then throw the bag in the bin and that was it. That was absolutely the best part!
