Type of Lighting
The data presented in Table (xxiii) shows that more than nine out of ten households, 91
per cent, had access to electricity in 2011, compared to 87 per cent in 2001. Use of
kerosene for lighting on the other hand fell from 11 per cent of households in 2001 to 6
per cent in 2011.
