per cent of these households indicating squatting on land while 20 per cent reported
“rent-free.” (see Table (xvi)).

Of the approximately 31,400 households (4 per cent) that reported squatting on the
land, the overwhelming majority (22,925 or 73 per cent) reported owning the dwelling,
while 21 per cent reported squatting in the dwelling also (see Table (xvii)).
