Red faces
1. Seems like there were red faces all around after it was leaked that a small fortune was being spent monthly on 'make-up' for the chief. Some are saying, however, based on recent appearances, it was money well spent!
Matey and sweetheart
2. The matey and the sweetheart came to near blows in the Second City last week, as the matey used her private motor vehicle to block the official motor vehicle being driven by the sweetheart at the busy intersection. There was no exchange of blows, but it was such a sad scene that onlookers are now wishing for a plague to befall their houses!
Royal hangover
3. Seems like even though the royals have come and gone, the real impact of the official visit is only now being felt in some places. Talk is that a certain person was not satisfied with not being given a more prominent role in activities and is complaining bitterly.
Signs of the time!
4. Friends who saw the pricey import parked on the roadside recently with its hood up all stopped and offered their services. Seems after all was said and done, however, it was simply a case of the vehicle running out of gasolene. Signs of the times!
Don't throw stones!
5. Remember the old saying 'Those who live in glass houses ...'? The moral of the story, they say, is, before you moralise about the status of others, make sure you are not in breach of the actions you are decrying!
Who is the source?
6. Those closest to the situation have always said they thought the source of those disruptive messages originated from a close friend or one-time confidant of the person being thrashed. Now they are saying: "I told you so all along!"
