Relaxed JDF await Bull Bay

The Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) will look to keep their slim lead atop the KSAFA/Claro Super League, when they host fourth place Bull Bay at Up Park Camp at 3 p.m.
Hoping for a slip-up from the army men, pre-season favourites August Town, second by a point on 14 after back-to-back draws, will travel to Molynes Road where they face Police National, who are ninth on six points.
Confident team
"We are a very motivated team and even more confident based on the fact that our results at home against Bull Bay for the last couple of seasons have been excellent," said JDF coach Owen Nelson.
"I don't think there is really any pressure on us, we are coming from behind, it's more on them (August Town) to recapture the lead, so we are just looking to take things one game at a time," he said.
"In any league keeping a lead is important but we are just looking to focus on winning each particular game and that will take care of itself," he added.
Perennial contenders for the title, Bull Bay, who finished runners-up in last season's competition and are currently fourth on 13, have had a less than convincing start to the season.
However, while they have found goals hard to come by - registering only one per game in their last six - they have been defensively solid.
"We are not really worried about statistics headed into this game. Traditionally the JDF is a tough place to play, they are a hard physical team and it will be a hard game," said Bull Bay manager Kenrick Barnaby. "Not getting more goals is a major concern for us but right now our main objective is to come away with all three points from the fixture."
In the day's other games, Cavalier (13), just three points off the pace in third place, will tackle second from bottom Mountain View at Constant Spring.
Looking to keep pace with the leaders, fifth place Santos (11) will host sixth place Constant Spring (10) at the Bell Chung Oval.
Though tenth, Maverley/-Hughenden (1) will be favoured to take all three points from struggling promoted team Lig-uanea United (0) at Maverley, while seventh place Duhaney Park (9) will host another promoted team, Real Mona, who are eighth, at Duhaney Park.
