Is Mike Henry serious?

I found it rather amusing that after nearly one-and-a-half years in office - i.e. close to a third of his term in office - Transport Minister Mike Henry would want to blame the previous People's National Party administration for the conditions of the roads which are now under his purview.
One would think that after two hurricane seasons with severe weather from several hurricanes for the nearly one-and-a-half years under his watch, he would want to soak up some of that responsibility for himself.
In his inaugural speech, the celebrated United States president, Barack Obama, told the citizens of the United States that the time had come to discard childish things. I am no Obama, but I might want to give the same advice to Henry and his fellow government ministers: Grow up, and start accepting responsibility for what happens under your watch.
I am, etc.,
