SYLVESTER CAMPBELL, coach of Tivoli Gardens 'A', is confident his team can retain this year's Jamaica Netball Association (JNA)/Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) Open League title.
Campbell made his assessment after his side recorded its second consecutive victory on Saturday at the Leila Robinson Courts, with a 64-4 romp over New Kingston Raiders.
"Our main objective is to retain our title this season and, at the moment, we are just using these early games to try different combinations within our team," said Campbell.
He said he was aware of the fact that a number of the top teams have strengthened their sides with a national players.
"With the movement of national players from the lower teams to the bigger teams this season, I think it will boil down to Jamalco, Waulgrovians, Tivoli (Gardens) or Windalco winning this competition," said Campbell, who is also the coach of the Tivoli Gardens 'B' team.
Neressa Gibbs led the way for Tivoli Gardens with 56 goals and received support form Nicole Peart, who sank eight.
