Obama comes like Moses
published: Monday | November 24, 2008

THE EDITOR, Sir:

When the cold war was on, a stability was maintained and enforced in the world, with a balance of power, between superpowers, the United States and the Soviet Union, with China as referee. Glasnost and Perestroika, has not only downgraded Russia's power, but created breakaway states, now independent of the Soviet Union and democratic.

The United States of America, now the only superpower, has created havoc in the world. With its jackboot mentality of shock and awe, the world today is not stable or safe. We are living in fear, not from the threat of nuclear disaster, but from terror within ones borders, thanks to Uncle Sam.

The world is spiralling out of control, and change must come for more love and peace. God sees that his people are in a crisis situation, where good must overcome evil, this mysterious God has changed the hearts and mindset of a people, giving them the mandate for a new direction, for peace, and world stability.

Out of Africa, like Moses, he has given the world Barack Obama. The first black president of the mighty and racist, US of A, and for the first time in history, a President-elect that has touched the hearts and conscience of so many people across the world, like Moses to deliver his people from bondage. This must be divine intervention.

I am, etc.,
