Season's greetings from Flair's Bachelor of the Year 2008!
published: Monday | November 24, 2008

Christopher Lawe makes a sweet Santa, don't you agree? - Ian Allen/Staff Photographer

Wow, what has happened since I was selected the ultimate bachelor? Well, I must start off by saying, I had no expectations of winning at all but was just being a 'sport' when I was approached to be part of the competition.

I was flattered and have had a little boost in self-confidence, especially after being told that it was based on a public vote. The truth is, even though everybody keeps saying, "your phone must be ringing off the hook", it really hasn't and the few calls I have received are just from friends calling to congratulate me or to tease me about it.

For now, I guess it's life and business as usual as I try to make the best of my career at Sagicor. Oh, and I am still listening to my Etana CD. I am sure I will cross paths with my bachelorette when the time is right.

Merry Christmas, ladies.

- Christopher Lawe
