Dr Rose Davies presents her husband, Dr Omar Davies, past student, with his plaque for long and dedicated service to Glenmuir High School during the 50th anniversary dinner, held on Thursday, November 20, at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel, New Kingston. They met each other while on staff in the early '70s.

Club India hosted its annual Christmas party at the club's Lady Musgrave Road headquarters on Friday, November 21. The Jamaica Cancer Society held its annual Wine and Cheese party on the lawns of Jamaica House, Devon Road, also on Friday night, and Glenmuir High School held its 50th anniversary dinner last Thursday at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel.
