Too many road accidents
published: Wednesday | November 12, 2008

The Editor, Sir:

Why is it that people of this country are never willing to accept blame for their actions or lack of it in this case? I'm making reference to the number of road accidents and the reasons for them.

Of course, we have to get rid of the drivers who can't read and punish those who blatantly disobey road regulations. But what are the responsible agencies doing about proper signs and clearly defined boundaries on the roadways, and proper lighting, especially at nights?

So Mr Mike Henry, please do your part before you start pointing fingers.

I am, etc.,
