Dr Fenton Ferguson
Four-time Member of Parliament for East St Thomas, Ferguson, polled the second highest number of votes in 2006 to be elected one of the party's four vice-presidents.
Ferguson has been on the rise in the PNP since he dented the political career of veteran Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) member Pearnel Charles whom he beat in 1993 to become MP.
Sharon Hay-Webster
Sharon Hay-Webster is back in the race for a vice-president post after a disastrous run in 2006. At that time she managed more votes than only one person finishing sixth out of the seven candidates.
But the three-time Member of Parliament for South Central St Catherine is well respected as an organiser and has worked her way up through the ranks.
Harry Douglas
Harry 'Pip-pip' Douglas crashed out of representational politics last year after losing the South East St Mary seat to the JLP's Tarn Peralto by 34 votes.
However, the presidential race and his support for long time friend Phillips has pulled the former deputy general secretary back into action.
Dr Wyekham McNeill
The chairman on the PNP's Region 6 which covers western parishes McNeill has emerged as one of the party's standard bearers in that section of the country.
He has been Member of Parliament for Western Westmoreland since 1997 and was widely expected to walk into a vice- president post as part of a process which many in the PNP say could end with a run for the top job.
