Meant to be! Yolanda Finegan and Morgan Sutherland wed in Ja

Yolanda Finegan, a recent graduate of Boston's Ivy League Tufts University, and Morgan Sutherland, certified massage therapist and businessman, exchanged wedding vows recently after four years of courtship.

On their wedding website, the charming story unfolds of two souls separately spending time in Costa Rica, learning to dance the salsa and to speak the fiery and passionate Spanish language. Each later also spent time in Italy, learning among other things to love pasta dishes and Italian wines. Little did they know that all this was merely preparation for that fateful day in May 2004, when their eyes would meet at a salsa club in Boston, Massachusetts.

Four years and one month later, they would travel to Yolanda's country, Jamaica, to be joined together as man and wife in a resort town with - what else!? The Spanish name of Ocho Rios.

satisfied smile

Escorted down the aisle of the Ocho Rios Baptist Church by her father, Rupert, and in the glow of the radiant and satisfied smile of the groom's artist mother, Nancy Sutherland, Yolanda was assisted by her mother/matron of honour, Vanitta Clarke Douglas, with bridesmaids Melissa Reittie, Aldeen Clarke and Michelle Gonzales gowned in cornflower blue.

Wearing a stunning Liv Harris strapless ivory gown moulded to fit her petite and flawless figure, Yolanda was a picture-perfect bride needing little adornments other than the dream in her eyes and the knowledge that she had the love of her Prince Charming, Morgan.

Morgan's father, filmmaker David Sutherland, was also his bestman, while childhood and college friends, Loren McArthur, Jason Poras and Adam Bernstein assisted as groomsmen.

exchanged traditional vows

Guided by the very experienced and able Rev Dr Aaron Dumas, who is a family friend and who was the bride's pastor during her early years in Jamaica, the couple exchanged traditional wedding vows, promising to love, honour, obey and to support each other in sickness and health.

The delightful beachside wedding reception was skilfully guided by master of ceremonies and aunt of the bride, Marilyn Bennett, who kept the evening buzzing with jokes aplenty in an atmosphere of love and excitement as over 130 family members and friends from Jamaica and all over the world shared this special day.

The chocolate and cornflower blue coloured theme was beautifully executed by Michelle Phillips, wedding planner. Reception was at the beachside of the upscale Sans Souci Lido Hotel in Ocho Rios.

The couple honeymooned in Jamaica before returning to Boston.
