'Failed WTO talks good for region'

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (CMC):

ormer Antigua and Barbuda diplomat, Sir Ronald Sanders, is hailing the collapse of World Trade Organisation (WTO) talks in Geneva as a godsend for the Caribbean, adding that it should be welcomed by the region.

Known as the Doha Round, the talks, in its seventh year, were designed to open global markets for agricultural and manufactured goods, as well as cross-border services
