ROOMS on the beach, Negril, the newest SuperClubs-affiliated hotel in Jamaica, opens for business tomorrow at 100 per cent occupancy.

The niche brand provides comfortable and affordable accommodations in areas predominantly monopolised by resorts. The Negril hotel is the second ROOMS to be launched, following the success of its sister property, ROOMS on the beach, Ocho Rios, which opened in January 2005.

Great start

"Singles, couples, and families looking for an authentic and affordable Jamaican retreat will find it at ROOMS," said John Issa, executive chairman of SuperClubs. "ROOMS Ocho Rios continues to prove popular with guests, boasting an impressive year-round 85 per cent occupancy rate, and Negril is off to a great start, completely sold out before it even opens."

Following a year of upgrading and improvement to the tune of US$4 million, ROOMS on the beach, Negril, features oceanview, beachfront, and spacious family rooms that sleep up to five, plus a swimming pool, onsite restaurant and bar, fitness centre and Internet café.

Ideal location

Located on Negril's famous seven-mile white-sand beach, ROOMS on the beach, Negril, is convenient to Rick's Café and Alfred's, and is in walking distance of local restaurants, attractions, boutiques, and gift shops.

SuperClubs, the world's only super-inclusive resort group, includes properties in three SuperClubs brand categories: SuperClubs Grand Lido Resorts; Grand Lido Negril Resort & Spa and Grand Lido Braco Resort & Spa; SuperClubs Breezes Resorts; Breezes Runaway Bay Resort & Golf Club and Breezes Montego Bay; Breezes Bahamas; Breezes Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino; Breezes Puerto Plata Resort, Spa & Casino in the Dominican Republic; Breezes Costa Do Sauipe in Brazil; and SuperClubs Hedonism Resorts; Hedonism II in Negril and Hedo-nism III in Runaway Bay.

SuperClubs has also licensed its brands in Cuba where three hotels now operate under the Breezes banner: Breezes Varadero, Breezes Bella Costa, and Breezes Jibacoa.
