Mobile madness at the movies
published: Saturday | July 26, 2008

I hate it when I go to watch a movie and most of the audience have their cellphones on, even though everyone is told to turn them off before the start of the movie.

It is very disturbing and quite frustrating! Why can't they turn off their cellphones for a measly one and a half to two hours! It's as if they can't do without their cellphones for a minute!

It just goes to show that most of us do not have any respect for authority.

How can we tell young people to behave when we, as adults, can't even follow a simple instruction. Whose example are they going to follow?

My other rant is that whenever I go to the movies, some people refuse to stand for the National Anthem. I find that very disrespectful.
