It's no secret, Logitech has been on the cutting edge of innovations for computer peripherals.
I recently stumbled on a unique, outstanding wireless keyboard named diNovo Edge, manufactured by Logitech. Just the design prompts you to buy it. But is it really worth it? Let's see what the diNovo Edge has to offer aside from great looks.
The good: First rechargeable wireless keyboard; visually satisfying design; great key response.
The bad and ugly: Expensive; touch-sensitive pad and volume control are not very responsive.
OK, straight out of the box, Logitech includes a USB Bluetooth receiver, charger stand, software CD and a Quick Start Guide. Also provided by Logitech is a small cloth that you'll need because the Plexiglas finish suffers badly from fingerprint marks.
Of course, the diNovo Edge looks great. But enough of the drooling over physical attraction. Does the keyboard have punch? Yep, the diNovo Edge is a pleasure to type on, with a sturdiness that belies its thin exterior. Also, its rechargeability is tops.
Those factors alone make the diNovo Edge a worthwhile buy for the tech junkie. However, the touch-sensitive controls for volume are a letdown. At times, the keys don't respond to gentle touch.
That's a wrap
Thanks to sharp design, it's easy to imagine this keyboard in the living room or in any high-visibility area. If you're willing to accept a high price tag for a keyboard with a few minor flaws, I would definitely recommend it. The Logitech diNovo Edge wireless keyboard gets 8/10 stars. I'd also recommend that you try out the Logitech's diNovo Mini, a palm-size wireless keyboard for your computer.
