The PM is correct. A leader has to be tough. We cannot sit idly by and let criminals kill off our citizens. Not only criminals have rights. Our citizens have rights also. The human rights group is doing a good work and I would urge them to continue fighting for the innocent ones, who otherwise may be unfairly treated. I think the PM means no harm, so let's get it on and rid the society of the bad apples that our citizens can walk the streets again without fear. God bless.

Jobs query
This is with regard to the issues of the many Jamaicans residing in St Maarten, who would like to return home but are afraid because of the lack of job opportunities in Jamaica. I would like to know what the prime minister plans on doing to help these Jamaicans, who would like to return home.

Vocal critics
It is amazing how there is always a group of people or organisations that have the remedy or answer for dealing with crime or anything that affects the country. In the past months, since the JLP government has taken power, there is not one instance that we have heard these voices proclaiming or recommending a solution to control the crime gripping the country.
In addition there were concerns expressed that the JLP Government is somewhat tardy in responding to the escalating crime, but as soon as the prime minister announced anti-crime measures, here come the human rights and legal communities, denouncing some of these measures. These communities should make recommendations that are practical and assist in implementing them. It is the responsibility of all to be a part of the solution.
