Shane Wilson failed in his bid for the triple crown, but still ended with excellent tournament results as he took home two gold and a silver to help Jamaica finish with eight medals at the Pan American Junior Badminton Championships in Guatemala City yesterday.
Wilson won the boys' Under-11 singles and teamed with Vinson Chiu for the doubles title.
Jamaica ended the tournament with two gold, three silver and three bronze medals.
Some members of the team return home today through Miami with the rest returning on Wednesday through Panama.

Under-19 Boys Doubles: Gareth Henry and Chadwick Parsons lost to Martin Guiffre and David Pastewka #2 of Canada 23-21, 18-21, 14-21 in final.
Under-13 Boys Doubles: Sean Wilson and Samuel Ricketts lost to Ygor Coelho and Fabio Soares #2 of Brasil 21-19, 12-21, 15-21 in final.
Under-11 Mixed Doubles: Shane Wilson and Bianca Hall #2 seed lost to Vinson Chiu and Micaela Lum #1 of USA 16-21, 15-21 in final.

Under-17 Boys Doubles: Delsang Lue-Taim and Jordan Roberts bronze.
