The Jamaica Boxing Board of Control presents the premiere of The Dark Knight at Carib 5 this Wednesday. Contribution: $1,000. Reception at 7:30 p.m., movie starts at 8 p.m.

BOTTLE IT UP

Pop Bottles, the ultimate bottle party, is on at Shields and Shields 1231/4 Barbican Road, this Thursday at 8 p.m. Ladies $1,000, gentlemen $1,500.

PARTY

Quatro V4, the anniversary special, sizzles at The Office, New Kingston (entrance behind Burger King) on Friday, starting at 6 p.m. Admission: $400 gets you in; one free drink on entry!

JAMBOREE

Westmoreland 4-H Clubs presents Seafood Jamboree 2008 on Sunday, July 27, at 10 a.m., at the New Hope Primary and Junior High School in Whitehouse in the parish. Adults $400, children $200.

BRUNCH

Food For the Poor Jamaica presents a Sunday Brunch and Family Day on Sunday, July 27, at the Sts Peter and Paul Church grounds, 120 Old Hope Road, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets: $1,000.
