NOTE-WORTHY

Dark patrol

Kudos to the police and the army for having Spanish Town covered in the past few days. On Tuesday, July 2, after the police announced the possibility of a crime upsurge in the township, I was a bit troubled to see three JDF vehicles patrolling the bypass at 8:30 p.m., between the intersection of Mainland and the train line at Food For the Poor, without any lights on their vehicles. I personally thanked them for their presence but, please Sir, can we implore them to do it so as not to jeopardise the lives of innocent motorists.

Exposing politics

I wish more journalists would expose our politics for what it really is - corrupt, murderous and dehumanising. Please continue to lift the covers off those who would destroy our country.
