Erine Wisdom, 27, was proposed to on her birthday, some weeks ago, and, of course, she said yes.
She is still basking in the glow of the proposal. Just ask her about the event and you'll see it in her eyes. She has begun her search for one of the most important outfits she will ever wear. Her wedding dress.
New to the whole search, the team at Flair decided to accompany Wisdom to experience the highs and lows of the shopping experience. We will be the 'best friend' holding her hand, uttering words of encouragement or discouragement if need be.
Ready to play dress up
We met at Cecille's Bridal, 11 Lancaster Road, and exchanged greetings at about 3:45 p.m. We were meeting for the first time, aside from a couple of phones calls to arrange the event.
So, there we were, ready and willing to play dress up. Sherine Francis, general manager of the store, entered with a pleasant cherubic face and escorted us to a dressing room and, without missing a beat, queried, "Straps or strapless?".
