I was quite flabbergasted to have seen, in the 21st century, a person in Jamaica who does not know and feel connected to patois (Patwa). And, by the way, the word, patois is French.

Mur' dan 90 per cent a Jamaican a African an Jamaican patwa is a 'corruption' of traditional African languages with English.

We, as a people, will never leave our indigenous life, cause wi a ancient people living in modern times - never to be captivated, yet related.

Please enlighten and enrich those who are willing to embark on the Patwa Bible Translation Project. All praises to its success.
