So what are you? That's the question guests were asked a lot at the National Commercial Bank Capital Markets reception last Friday night. With the division's new wealth management product, I Am, it's a viable question.
If you are conservative, bold or adventurous, it will show in your investing, and the Capital Markets team had options for all those outlooks.
So, to introduce the public to the new product, the NCB team invited customers and potential customers to the Mona Visitors' Lodge to wine and dine them, as well as offer solid portfolio advice.
But this was not just a sit-down-and-listen affair. Wealth advisers had one-on-one speed networking sessions with various guests. Scrabble (yes, scrabble) games were also in the mix (both scrabble and investing take strategy, get it?) There was even time for a little fashion show (clothes from Trendi Editions), the outfits mirroring the different moods of investors (i.e. bold, conservative, and so on). Throw in music from the band, Airplai, and it was quite an evening.
Guests out included: Sheree Martin, Charmaine Wright, Mendel Thompson, Major Hugh Blake and wife Judith Forth-Blake, Justices Ian Forte and Marlene Malahoo Forte, Gary and Bernadette Barrow, Ian Neita, Dimario McDowell, Misha Lobban, Chesna Haber, Tanya Lee, Gavin McBean and Athelstan Bellamy.
Group managing director of National Commercial Bank, Patrick Hylton, elicits a hearty laugh from Nicole Walker, group marketing and communications manager.
Plenty to smile about as Elizabeth James (left), wealth adviser at NCB Capital Markets, and Michelle Williams (whose hubby Chris runs that branch of NCB) hang out at the reception.
Shekeenah Mitchell adds a little spunk to the fashion show at the NCB Capital Markets reception. Looks like a busy lady, doesn't she?
