'Sex' premieres in the city
published: Friday | June 6, 2008

It was a night for 'the girls' to come out, beautifully dressed I might add. A couple of 'Mr Bigs' also tagged along.

The event? The official premiere of the movie Sex and the City in Jamaican theatres. Official because somehow it seems like a stretch to officially open a movie for the first time twice. Lovers of the fashionable series who were relegated to watching reruns of Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte's antics late at night have been eagerly awaiting the first movie.

Fashion sense

These fans unleashed their fashion sense at Palace Cineplex in Sovereign Centre on Tuesday with Martinis and tickets in hand.

The highlight of the Scotia DBG Investments-sponsored event was getting your picture taken as patrons turned out red-carpet ready.

Dominique Davis conceptualised and organised the event.

Carrie and Big maybe? No, it's husband and wife Glaister and Danielle Cun-ningham keeping rather close.
