After three then. One, two, cut! Fanny Piņo slices the independence anniversary cake with the help of the always game Oswald Harding at Argentina's national day reception, held at the Hilton Kingston hotel, New Kingston, on Monday. - photos by Winston Sill/Freelance Photographer

There is quite a lot to celebrate these days and they are done in fine style. Argentina had a national day, and Appliance Traders marked a milestone. And no matter what the occasion, the ladies always sizzle.

Left : Talk about stunning! That's exactly what Lisa Lake is draped in all the colours of the rainbow at ATL's 40th anniversary. Right: A seductive Jamie Stewart-McConnell at ATL's 40th anniversary celebrations at Hope Gardens on Tuesday. - photos by Colin Hamilton/Freelance Photographer

Argentine Ambassador to Jamaica, Mario Piņo (centre), welcomes a radiant Marigold Harding to his national day reception. Looking on is his wife, Fanny Piņo.

Something in the distance has certainly captured the attention of Dr Dhiru Tanna (centre) as Charles Johnston (left) listens keenly to Izzy Hoppenfeld at Argentina's national day reception.

It seems Anna Sotaniemi (left) from Finland and Cuban Juana Elena Ramos haven't seen each other in a while. Luckily, that changed as they got a chance to catch up at a reception in honour of the delegates attending the assembly of the International Seabed Authority at the Embassy of Spain on Tuesday. - photos by Peta-Gaye Clachar/Staff Photographer

Sara Silva (left) must be a very funny lady as she totally cracks up (from left) Ana Martha Engel, Fanny Piņo and Luz Santamaria
