I am a good friend of Kevin Brown and was stationed in Germany with him. I'm also from Spanish Town, Jamaica, and I'm still a member of the military.

I believe Kevin was unstable for a while and really needed pro-fessional help. He also distanced himself from friends. I spoke with him in December when he called me from Iraq and he said he was going through a difficult time and he needed to talk to someone.

I have known Kevin since 2000 and, trust me, this youth is not a violent person, but losing his mother really messed him up. I won't talk about my military experience or the stuff I saw in Iraq, but trust me, you would not be the same.
