Courts Pot O' Luck launch - entertaining family show
published: Friday | April 4, 2008

Latoya Grindley, Features Writer

Richard Luck, finance director for Courts, with son, Jordan, at Courts Jamaica Limited 2008 big prize promotion held at Devon House, last Saturday.

The rainy condition was no deterrent to the many who turned up at the Courts 2008 Pot O' Luck launch at Devon House, last Saturday. Thankfully, when the showers came there were available tents for shelter.

Quite eager for the show to get under way, as soon as the rain eased, guests flocked towards the stage for what was to be an entertaining family show. Comedy duo, Ity and Fancy Cat, dressed, as grandma and grandpa, was on hand to give the audience a bellyful of laughter. The performances of recitals and dances by special group were just as exciting.

Each year, Courts Jamaica launches its big prize promotion valuing millions of dollars. This year for its Pot O' Luck promotion, 14 monthly winners (one from each parish) will be selected to grab prizes from the 'Pot'. Prizes include cash, airline tickets, cars, shopping sprees and an insurance plan. Additionally, each winner will receive a Digicel phone as well as get a chance to grab for a 'brawta'. The promotion will run from April to December 2008.
