OAS mission hears Opposition election concerns

ST GEORGE'S, Grenada (CMC):

Discussions held between an expert team from the Organisation of American States (OAS) and key groups Wednesday have been described as fruitful.

The visiting officials arrived on Tuesday to help the Electoral Office here prepare for general elections due in 2009 but widely expected to be called later this year.

The OAS team which is on a two-day mission met with the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) which has raised concerns about the office.
