Killancholly murder case postponed
published: Monday | March 10, 2008

Another mention date was set yesterday for 32-year-old security guard, Jeffrey Perry, who is charged with the murder of three children at Killancholly, St Mary, because the psychiatric reports were not ready.

Acting Supreme Court Judge Martin Gayle remanded Perry until April 11 when it is expected that the reports will be ready and he will be assigned another lawyer.Perry's case was set for trial on February 18 in the Home Circuit Court but his lawyer, Robert Fletcher, withdrew from the case. Fletcher said Perry was not following his advice and asked the court for Perry to be further examined by a psychiatrist.

The children were fatally stabbed on January 28, 2005.
