L'Oréal for the Jamaican woman
published: Monday | March 3, 2008

HIP is perfect for a dramatic look at night.

"L'Oréal is for the Jamaican woman." That was the clear message delivered recently by Maria Bocardo. Bocardo is the export development manager at L'Oréal Caribe and she was in Jamaica for an 'official' launch of L'Oréal. In November 2007, L'Oréal selected Pioneer Manufacturing Distribution (PMD) as the local distributor of all L'Oréal products.

Executive director of PMD, Alfred Thomas, notes that not only is L'Oréal for the Jamaican woman, but there is something for everyone in every age group. There is the Wrinkle De-crease for persons in their 30s. It reduces wrinkles and expression lines. Revitalift, for women in their 40s, creates firmer skin, smoothes wrinkles with pro Retinol A and Age Perfect for women in their 50s, redensifies and hydrates thin, fragile skin. Whatever your choice, PMD promises it will be available in a pharmacy or beauty store near you.

HIP LINE

High intensity pigment (HIP) is especially designed for women of colour because of the intensity of the colour. The HIP line includes eyeshadow, blushing cream, liquid foundation and bronzing powder. Make-up artist and skin-care consultant, Camille Stephenson, notes that the hip line is great for nightwear because its products have a lot of glitter. The L'Oréal line has a wide range of colours that wear longer and are definitely for women.
